Oren learned html quickly for the theatre page we did together and has started serious work on his own page. We made plans to do more pages for school. Bec kept track of folks who chat at irc.buffnet.net and has lots of Kee's neat
artwork at her Wrecked Room.
Sally talked about the South on one of her many pages.
Dee had a different slant as frogz and Gotham entertained us well. Luckily talented Chris K gave me permission to update the virtual neighorhood as her own pages are gone.
We met Irwin aka Shadrak taking classes at Virtual University.
Geocities was launched in 1995 and in 2009 Yahoo! closed down free hosting sites there. ReoCities rescued millions of pages that they've archived, there are plenty of treasures. "If you have a website that links to old GeoCities content, and we've managed to restore that content, we would like to ask you to change the links from Geocities.com to Reocities.com. It's just a one letter change and it will help the Internet to hang together that much better." So happy recities restored our group pages! We had fun learning techniques on the Societal Information page a group of us did (education, teens, government and health information). The first group page we did focused on information sources on the web. Both are archived at reocities and are no longer being updated.
